SPARRING -
Applied Fighting

Sparring is a full, continuous hour of supervised, controlled fighting. The goal is not to beat each other into the ground, but to apply the techniques you’ve learned in real, live situations — consciously and with intent.

Each session starts with a designated technical combination or solution that we briefly review and drill. From there, sparring opens up fully. It’s free fighting throughout, with the task of using learned techniques when the situation genuinely calls for them — not because you were told to.

Training places strong emphasis on ring scenarios, space management, cutting angles, and decision-making under pressure. These are the moments where it becomes clear how well you can move, control the exchange, and impose your will.

During sparring, the coach observes from the outside and provides continuous feedback in real time — correcting positioning, footwork, and distance management while the fight is happening. This class is the bridge between technical training and real combat sports situations.

Recommended if you:

  • already have solid technical foundations
  • want to apply techniques in live, high-pressure scenarios
  • aim to improve decision-making, space control, and overall command
  • value controlled, supervised sparring
